 After being forced to join his girlfriend’s paranormal research club, high school student Milo accidentally transports himself and a few others to some far-off land where he and his friends are worshipped as gods by the populace. They enjoy this for a while, but things begin to crumble as it nears the time of the people’s Feast, where the four kids are going to become the sacrifices for the year.  After realizing this, someone comes to rescue them- the government of Afetyo. They whisk them away from the crazed masses of the cult, but later the kids realize their saviors don’t have their best interests at heart. Will they be able to escape those who rule their planet with an iron fist? Will everyone make it out with their lives? (This is the third book of the series, behind TPG and then TGH.)
