The Victors' Escape Summary (Book 5)

As the runaways of the past few novels congregate, they come across a common goal- destroy Talache, kill the horde of loyalists, and leave nothing left as Afetyo burns.  They split off and try their best to destroy the thing that took their trust, their loved ones, or their childhoods. However, it takes much longer than they expected, and those nine can not do it on their own. Their first objective is to get the Otherworlders’ help- a group of people from a land the Afet people inhabited before they tried to kill all the Otherworlders and take the land for their own. Even with the Otherworlders’ help, can they make it through the traps the Afet government sent for them? Can they handle burning down the people whose powers seem to have no limits?
